Eastbourne

Brighton & The Cinque Port of Rye

Known as the “Sun Trap of the South”, Eastbourne enjoys a glorious location sheltered by the rolling South Downs and Beachy Head. There is an air of quality, charm and dignity to be found here, with its flowering promenades, inviting beaches, traditional seaside attractions, pier, amusements and theatres. The magnificent level promenade encourages gentle strolls, whilst the town centre has plenty of interesting shops for the visitor to enjoy.

During your stay we include an excursion to the famous resort of Brighton with its many attractions including the famous Royal Pavilion, a spectacular seaside palace of the Prince Regent. Stroll along the beach front and the Victorian Palace Pier, see the lovely parks and gardens and perhaps take a ride on England’s oldest electric railway to the Marina. Explore the Brighton Lanes which are a maze of twisting alleyways offering a mix of specialist shopping. We also visit the Cinque port of Rye and the pretty town of Tenterden situated in the Kent Weald.

The Mansion Lions Hotel enjoys a superb position on Eastbourne’s seafront, opposite the bandstand and within level walking distance of the town centre. Hotel facilities include a lift, cosy lounge bar, entertainment lounge, restaurant and all bedrooms have en-suite bathroom, TV, telephone and tea/coffee maker.
