Excursions to Cromer, Norwich & a visit to Peterborough

Great Yarmouth is East Anglia’s premier resort and is renowned for its long sandy beaches, piers, Marine Parade,
the attractive Anchor and Nelson Gardens together with a choice of theatres and excellent shopping facilities. Some
of the resort’s attractions include the Time and Tide Museum where visitors can wander down a typical 1913 “Row”
and view the inside of the homes of local fishermen and the award winning Merrivale Model Village and Railway
Gardens.

Norwich is a city of churches, with more than thirty within its medieval narrow streets and the Cathedral of Holy Trinity
with its 315ft spire and its fine West Front one of the most impressive in Europe. The Norman Keep of Norwich Castle
dominates the hill and is surrounded by a moat which has been converted into attractive gardens. During your day
perhaps visit Swan Lane, or the cobbled Elm Hill, just two of Norwich’s medieval streets.
