Itinerary

Fri - Our journey winds through some of England’s most captivating landscapes, beginning with a leisurely stop in the Cotswolds’ gem, Bourton-on-the-Water. Known as the “Venice of the Cotswolds,” this charming village is famous for its honey-coloured stone cottages, graceful low bridges, and winding River Windrush.

Sat - Today you can spend the day at leisure discovering Bristol. Start with a peaceful walk across the Clifton Suspension Bridge and take in sweeping views from the nearby Clifton Observatory. Wander through the charming streets and independent shops of Clifton Village, then head into the city to visit the free Bristol Museum & Art Gallery. Follow a self-guided Banksy street art trail, tracing the roots of the city's creative edge. For a deeper dive into Bristol’s maritime heritage, consider an optional visit to Brunel’s SS Great Britain—a brilliantly restored Victorian ship and immersive museum that brings history to life on the harbourside.

Sun - After enjoying a leisurely breakfast, you will have the morning exploring more of Bristol at your own pace. You might take a final stroll through Clifton Village, browse local boutiques, or enjoy a quiet coffee overlooking the Harbourside.

In the early afternoon, we depart Bristol for a visit to the charming city of Wells—England’s smallest city, nestled at the foot of the Mendip Hills. Despite its size, Wells is rich in history and beauty. You’ll have time to admire the magnificent Wells Cathedral, known for its stunning Gothic architecture and peaceful Chapter House, and wander through the picturesque Bishop’s Palace and Gardens. Don’t miss a stroll along Vicar’s Close, believed to be the oldest continuously inhabited residential street in Europe.

Mon - After enjoying a leisurely breakfast, we depart Bristol and begin our journey with visits to two historic and picturesque destinations: Gloucester and Cheltenham.

Our first stop is Gloucester, a city steeped in history and best known for its stunning Gloucester Cathedral, where scenes from the Harry Potter films were filmed. We then continue on to the elegant spa town of Cheltenham, renowned for its Regency architecture, boutique shops, and beautifully landscaped parks. Following our visit to Cheltenham, we continue our journey home, reflecting on a memorable trip filled with history, charm, and discovery.
