Nestling between two rugged headlands on the South Devon Coast lies the popular seaside resort of Paignton, one of the highlights of the beautiful area known as the English Riviera. Paignton is situated between the neighbouring resorts of Torquay and Brixham and it has a vibrant seafront, pier, quaint harbour, plus a good selection of shops, a theatre and cinema.
Torbay Court Hotel - PaigntonAwarded 3 stars with Quality in Tourism, the family-run Torbay Court Hotel is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of Paignton, in Devon. It is less than a 5-minute walk from the main seafront and features a large restaurant. The hotel is centrally situated, only a few minutes level walk away from the seafront, theatre and town centre. Hotel facilities include restaurant, lounge bar, dance floor, lift and all bedrooms have private bathroom, digital TV with free view, hair dryer, tea/coffee maker and Wi-Fi.
Mon - Travel to Paignton arriving at the hotel at approx. 17.00hrs. Enjoy a welcome cup of tea or coffee before settling into your room followed by the evening meal.
Tue - Day at leisure for you to relax and enjoy Paignton.
Wed - After breakfast join the coach and we travel to Dawlish for a morning visit. Later we re-join the coach for an afternoon visit to Teignmouth.
Thu - Today we include a morning excursion to the fishing town of Brixham. We then re-join the coach and make our way back to Paignton where the rest of the afternoon is at leisure.
Fri - After breakfast, we bid farewell to Paignton and travel homewards arriving in the local area at approx.17.30hrs.
