The Empress Hotel, Douglas
The hotel is 2 minutes walk from the beach. Overlooking Douglas Bay on the Isle of Man, this hotel has a piano bar, a health club, and a large conservatory that features panoramic sea views.
The hotel’s rooms all have modern décor, and come equipped with satellite TV. Guests can also make use of a work desk and facilities for making tea and coffee.

Sun -  We start our journey by making our way to Heysham to make the crossing to Douglas. We continue to the hotel for our evening meal.

Mon - Today your day will be at leisure to explore Douglas.

Tue - After breakfast we enjoy a ride on the Manx Electric Railway, a single journey from Douglas to Laxey. Next we head for our entrance at the Laxey Wheel. The Laxey Wheel is built into the hillside above the village.  It is the largest working waterwheel in the world. We then board the Snaefell Mountain Railway. We join at Laxey which takes us on a return to the Summit where we take in the stunning views of the Island.

Wed - After breakfast we make our way to the seaside town of Peel. Peel is the island's main fishing port and Peel Cathedral is the seat of the Bishop of Sodor and Man. Peel is sometimes referred to as the "rose red city", due to the red sandstone used to build the castle and other important buildings.

Thu - Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then your day will be at leisure to explore Douglas.

Fri - After breakfast we re trace our steps for the homeward journey making the crossing from Douglas to Heysham.
