The Riviera Hotel, Torquay
The Riviera Hotel is just a short stroll from the sea and all the amenities that Torquay has to offer. There is an indoor pool and Jacuzzi which is open seasonally (April – October inclusive). There is also nightly cabaret style entertainment in The Show Bar including a quiz, bingo and live entertainment. There is a Sports Bar on-site serving drinks and food from 12pm. Free WiFi is available in public areas. The hotel is ungraded but is a self-classified at a 3 star standard.

 

Mon -  Morning departure as we head south to our hotel, settle into your room & enjoy your evening meal.

Tue - Today we take a scenic tour across the Dartmoor National Park before dropping down into the maritime city of Plymouth where there’s free time to explore the city’s many attractions.

Wed - Spend time this morning in the historic market town of Newton Abbot. There is an outdoor market held here every Wednesday and the centre of town features the the ancient tower of St Leonard. Next we visit the House of Marbles, where guests can tour the sites historic trail with museums of glass, games, marble and pottery. 

Thu - Today can be taken at leisure, with free time to explore the streets and beaches of Torquay, all a short stroll from the hotel. 

Fri - After breakfast we depart the hotel & commence the homeward journey.
