Sun - This morning we depart the local area and make our way north to Drymen, we check into our hotel and enjoy our evening meal.
Mon - We spend today in Edinburgh with time at leisure to explore Scotland’s beautiful capital and its many attractions.
Tue - This morning we enjoy a relaxing cruise on Loch Katrine. Departing from the Trossachs pier, we sit back and admire the beauty of the area, taking in views of Ben Venue mountain, Ellen’s Isle and Queen Victoria’s loch-side Royal Cottage. This afternoon we head to the small town of Callander where we have time at leisure. Known as the ‘Gateway to the Highlands’, Callander serves as the eastern gateway to the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, so the scenery is magnificent, with the River Teith flowing through the town.
Wed - After breakfast we join the coach for ou day excursion to Stirling, which has everything that the main cities have: rich history, architectural and natural beauty, and cultural richness. But here’s the thing: Stirling is also cheaper, quieter and smaller than the major Scottish cities, so everything is much more accessible and the city is easily navigated on foot or by public transport.
Thu - After breakfast we bid farewell to the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
