Spend some time in Nottingham, known throughout the world for the famous legend of Robin Hood. Today Nottingham is one of the UK's most thriving and creative cities. A destination alive with dynamic culture; the castles, caves and cultural attractions unite the past and present, providing a fascinating place to explore, whatever your interests.
On Sunay we take a 3 hour cruise along the River Trent whilst enjoying a delicious 2 course roast lunch!
After lunch we travel to the Crich Tramway Village in Matlock, the museum contains over 80 trams built between 1873 and 1982 and is set within a recreated period village containing a working pub, café, old-style sweetshop and tram depots.

Just 1 mile from Nottingham city centre and on the city bus route.

Itinerary

Sat - Morning departure as we make our way to Nottingham for you to enjoy the city. Enjoy your 3 course evening meal at the hotel tonight.

Sun - After breakfast we take our 3 hour cruise from The River Lodge where we sit back, relax and enjoy a 2 course lunch. Once we are back on dry land we head for Crich Tramway Village. Step back in time along the recreated period street where you won’t have to wait long for the rumble of a vintage tram. Many of the buildings along the street have been rescued from towns and cities across the UK. We later commence the homeward journey.
