To wander through the sweeping corridors and grand rooms of Longleat House is to be transported back in time. Exploring this stunning example of high Elizabethan architecture – and the Capability Brown landscaped grounds surrounding it – is a day out in itself. It was substantially completed by Sir John Thynne in 1580. And today, his descendants are still lucky enough to call it their home.

Itinerary

Fri - Travel southwards to our hotel, enjoy some free time in Street before tucking into your evening meal at the hotel.

Sat - Early breakfast and then travel to Warminster and to Longleat House and Safari Park. Tour the Safari  Park with the remainder of your day at leisure. We depart Longleat returning to the hotel for our evening meal.

Sun - After breakfast enjoy some free time in Street. Why not take the a short walk across the road to Clarks Village retail outlet, this fantastic shopping village has many famous brand names offering great value, discounted goods for all the family. Later we commence the homeward journey.
