The annual parade began in 1959 to celebrate the area's flower growing success, but only returned in 2023 after a 10-year break. The floral event, which attracts visitors from across the UK, is woven into the history of the area and was a feature of many childhoods.

Itinerary

Fri - Today we will take a delightful coach trip with a fascinating stop in Derby, where you’ll have the chance to explore its rich history and culture. Wander through the city at your own pace or opt for a visit to the Derby Museums, home to Joseph Wright’s masterpieces, Georgian heritage, and industrial innovations at the Museum of Making.

After an enriching afternoon, we continue our journey to Peterborough, where you’ll check into a comfortable hotel for a relaxing evening. Enjoy a delicious dinner and take in the sights of this historic city.

Sat - After breakfast we will get ready for a blooming marvellous day out at the Spalding Flower Parade 2025! In the heart of Lincolnshire this iconic event brings a dazzling display of vibrant flower-covered floats, live entertainment, and family fun.

Sun - Following breakfast we head to Loughborough Market, here we will find a historic gem packed with over 90 ceramic stalls showcasing beautiful handcrafted pottery alongside fresh produce, clothing, and unique finds. Whether you're browsing for artisan ceramics, home décor, or local treasures, this vibrant market offers something for everyone!
