Behaviour & Safety
The driver is responsible for the safety of the vehicle at all times and may refuse travel or remove any
passenger whose behaviour puts safety at risk or breaches public service vehicle regulations.
Alcohol Restrictions
No alcohol is permitted on board when travelling to or from a sporting event.
This includes carrying or consuming alcohol at any point during the journey. The driver has final authority
to refuse travel to anyone breaching this rule.
Group Responsibility
The Hirer or nominated group leader must ensure all passengers understand and follow these conditions.
Failure to do so may result in individuals being removed from the vehicle or future travel being refused.
Damage & Cleaning
Any damage or excessive mess caused by the group is the responsibility of the Hirer. Sporting hires require
an additional refundable deposit to cover potential cleaning or repair costs:
- Bookings under £500 – £100 deposit
- Bookings over £500 – £250 deposit
Deposits are refunded within 7 working days if the vehicle is returned in a satisfactory condition.
Cancellation of Fixtures
Credit notes are issued if a fixture is cancelled due to:
- Red weather warnings (MET Office)
- Adverse weather making pitches unplayable
- Lack of match officials
All other cancellations follow the standard charges in the main Terms & Conditions.
