Mon - Early morning departure to Holyhead where we board the ferry service to Dublin port. We disembark and continue northwards arriving at the hotel in Coleraine late afternoon. Settle into your room before enjoying your evening meal.

Tue - Today we take a two hour walking tour of Derry. Derry  claims to have Europe’s largest collections of cannons with 24 surviving and displayed throughout the city walls including the famous Roaring Meg! Following our guided tour there will be some free time at leisure to meander the compact streets and discover all that this fantastic city has to offer.

Wed - After breakfast we make our way to Ulster Folk & Transport Museum. Explore thatched cottages, farms, schools and shops as you experience life from over 100 years ago. Set in over 170 acres of rolling countryside overlooking Belfast Lough, chat to a costumed visitor guide, admire traditional crafts and meet farm animals.
The Folk Museum tells the story of life in early 20th century Ulster. A bygone era is recreated in a rural landscape of farms, cottages, traditional crops and local breeds of livestock, it is well worth a visit.

Thu - This morning we make our way to one of Northern Ireland’s oldest and most beautiful estates, Glenarm Castle which is  the ancestral home of the McDonnells, Earls of Antrim. Take a tour of the private home of Lord and Lady Dunluce giving an insight into the fascinating history and life of the castle. There will be time to explore the walled garden, in its incomparable setting by the sea; perhaps enjoy refreshments in the charming tea room. Our return journey is all about the scenery as we travel along the Antrim coast back to the hotel.

Fri - After breakfast we bid farewell to the hotel and retrace our route back to Dublin. We board an afternoon ferry sailing to Holyhead and then continue the homeward journey.
